Rickety Ranch

We use a variety of media to express our artistic whims.  We shape and combine metals to form sculptures large and small.  We paint with acrylics and watercolors, make mosaics with ceramic tile and work with stained glass as well.  We are often inclined to mix these media together to see what we can create.
WELCOME TO OUR WEB SITE!   John and Kim McBride

On this web site you will see examples of our efforts, past and present.  Although art is our avocation rather than vocation, we do sell our creations from time to time.  In 2007 and 2008 we participated in the SequimArts Studio Tour, opening our doors to art lovers for three days during the Lavender Festival in July.  We had a wonderful experience and will be participating again this year - see details below.  In the past we have had gallery showings and have attended craft street fairs.  If we do such things again we will publish our plans on this web site.
Sequim Arts Studio Tour 2009 will be held July 17th, 18th and 19th, during the Sequim Lavender Festival. Come join us!

Ethel Mermaid was the collaborative effort of John and Kim.  She won acclamation and  "artists' choice" award at a juried show and now is perched on a porch overlooking the seaside on Mission Boulevard in San Diego, California.
